Saffron City is not only torn between two corrupt powers, but its trainers are torn between two competing gyms. The first, The Saffron Dojo was a Gym from the early beginnings of Saffron which not only used fighting type Pokémon but trained trainers to use these hand to hand combat skills. Its ‘opponent’ the official Saffron Gym has recently taken the accreditation of the Saffron using help from Team Rocket to get laws passed to name it the official Saffron Gym. The Saffron Gym Leader isn’t one for rules, forcing trainers into no-holds barred Pokémon brawls.
