``Criminal Record;; His record is spotless. Despite the fact that he is the most wanted man in the Kanto Region, he is virtually untouchable.
``Medical Record;; It has been said that Shotaru was diagnosed with bipolar disorder because of his sudden mood swings- however this has never actually been confirmed.
``Secrets;; None. Shotaru is very out in the open about everything that he does as well as everything he is involved with. His intangibility gives him reason to be so arrogant.
``Appearance;;

His face is round, and soft, the skin of which is silky smooth and virtually without blemishes. His eyes a big and round, filled with innocence and childlike wonder. His nose, small like a button, suits his face perfectly, accenting his wide eyes and slender lipped mouth. His complexion is what some might consider pale, but not sickly- more likely fair. Due to his young age, he is lucky enough to have a very fair complexion without wrinkles or dark circles. He has yet to encounter the skin issues that he would most likely have to deal with as an adult. Still, he dislikes his complexion at the same time, because of it’s paleness he is often asked if he's feeling okay. With his skin so naturally really pale, he finds it all but impossible to get a good tan- not that he often tries. His childlike face is lacking jacked features, giving him a relatively endogenous appearance. Many older people would consider him an “adorable young lady”.

Shotaru is short and on the on the slim side, bordering on frail. He is very short, standing well under six feet tall. Shotaru is slender, but he still has somewhat of a round face. Despite being somewhat of an obnoxious eater, he manages to maintain his boney figure. Most argue that it is he childish metabolism, which is probably correct. He eats whatever he wants, and despite a lack of any sort of strenuous exercise he remains in healthy condition. His limbs are slim and lanky, and truth be told his knees are a bit knobby. Due to the way that he walks he finds it relatively easy to hide his pigeon toes and knocked knees.

Shotaru’s eyes are a warm hazel color, tinted with some red around the inner ring, and unlike some, they don’t change color. His hair is silky and smooth, it’s a lovely blonde color, and some say that it even looks like a wig. In the sunlight, his hair appears a bit darker, but not much. His hair runs a little bit past his shoulders, and has ‘choppy’ layers you could say. Shotaru’s hair normally wears his hair straight, with two small pigtails on top. It is a very feminine hairstyle, which frames his facial features perfectly. He has been known to wear it in a variety of styles, but this one is what he considers to be the ‘cutest’.

Shotaru loves to follow the latest trends of fashion, so naturally he is the one that keeps up with all of the fashion trends out there. His attire tends to follow the line of the Lolita style, and in this fact he tends to wear the clothing of a female. The clothing he wears is the main reason why many are confused with Shotaru’s gender. The clothing he wears are always elegant and very expensive looking- if anything they are not practical for one who travels so much.

Contrary to popular belief, Shotaru Kokonoe is actually a male. Don’t believe me? He will gladly show you. Due to his frail frame and layered choice of clothing, Shotaru is able to hide the fact that he is a male and completely look the part of a young woman. This is ironic, because he has never once stated that he was anything other than a man.

``History;;

Most people are more than happy to be parents, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newest addition to their family. In the case of Shotaru Kokonoe, that was far from the truth. He was a devastating disaster to the life and career of his mother, Maira Kokonoe. His mother was a free-lance type person who did not like the idea of responsibility, and in high school had vowed that she would never have a family. However, fate and life have a funny way of working together, and thus brought Shotaru to Maira. When in a more nostalgic state, it always amazes Shotaru that he did not perish at an early age under the less than watchful gaze of his mother. He can remember so many times when he was growing up when he would come home and find the apartment empty, or more often his mother sprawled out in a drunken sleep, leaving him to cook for himself, do his homework and put himself to sleep. His younger years were wrought with many sleepless nights hearing the loud arguments between his mother and her countless lovers. Still he considers his childhood a good one, and loved his mother dearly as he knew of no other lifestyle. When speaking about his mother, Shotaru has often said that, “She was the best mother he ever had.”

He had always dreamed that his father was some famous badass, and that he had to leave because he didn’t want to be weighed down by a family- this was of course a ploy to explain his situation. When he was ten, this false perception of reality was shattered when his mother broke the news to him that his father had been no more than a nameless pencil pusher, they had met in a bar and had a night full of cheap perfume and crappy pick-up lines, of course, the end result was a healthy baby boy ten months later. Maria claims she never even knew his name, and that when he found out he was a father he deserted her to be with his real family. The thought that someone could do that to their flesh and blood left a lasting impression on him, for two years he moved through middle school in a haze. It is assumed that it this point, he began to dress like a female, for reasons unknown. He was a popular girl, in fact, he was the most popular girl, and was often the center of attention. Countless boys had a crush on the adorable little girl, unaware that ‘she’ was carrying the same equipment as they were- they clearly hadn’t heard Shotaru refer to himself as a boy as he so often did.

It was in this time period that Shotaru began collecting Pokemon. An old man who spent most of his days on his stoop, smoking cigarettes and drinking hard liquor, gave his first, and favorite Pokemon to him. For whatever reason, Shotaru found some sort of a kindred spirit in the old man, named Cid, and he often stopped by the old man’s stoop. The old man was calloused and often said that he didn’t like ‘oddly dressed little girl’ but in reality the considered each other the family that they never had. He would tell him stories of his life as a great Pokemon trainer, and the adventures that his lifestyle took him on. See, Cid was no ordinary old man reminiscing his good old days as a trainer, he was the former Kanto Champion.

One day on the stoop while smoking cigarettes, Shotaru expressed his interest in becoming a Pokemon trainer, seeing it as a way to get out of the god-forsaken city in which he lived. Of course the old man was happy to hear that his makeshift son/daughter/thing wanted to follow in his footsteps, and was more than happy to supply him with his first Pokemon. Of course, the master was too cheap to part with any of his more valuable breeds, so he gave young Shotaru a Jynx- an odd looking Pokemon with little potential. Shotaru, however couldn’t tell the difference between a Magikarp and a Lucario, so he gladly took the dark skinned pet.

When he was fourteen he discovered his talent for organizing and controlling others. It is believed that because young Shotaru was so charismatic and attractive, he found it easy to manipulate others. He established a small gang of Pokemon trainers that was modeled after the hierarchy of Samurai, and together, they ruled the school system. Freshman year in High School was rather dull- his dominance was established and there was little else to do- so he left everything behind, becoming somewhat of a legend as he faded from the community, in search of nothing in particular. With the stories of Cid running through his head, Shotaru knew that it was time to shape his legacy and become the very best, like no one ever was.

Fast forward, two years- Shotaru has built a powerful team of Pokemon and is widely considered one of the best trainers in the Kanto Region. He had collected all but on badge, and it was time to take the coveted badge of Viridian City. The sixteen year old had no idea what would happen after defeating the first few trainers and coming face to face with the Gym Leader. The man, who was also then the leader of Team Rocket, revealed that he was in fact Shotaru’s father. Pencil pusher? Far from the truth. Upon learning the truth about his father, Shotaru dropped all of his badges on the floor before his father said these words:

”I can say now before you that until now, I had no motivation to make it this far- but now, I can say with no arrogance that I will do what took me two years to do in half that time… and when I do I will take your positions, both as the leader of this gym and as the leader of Team Rocket!”

To make a long story short, Shotaru was true to his word, and defeated his father a year later, establishing himself as the kumicho of Team Rocket and the leader of the Viridian City Gym.

As the most feared boss of Team Rocket, Shotaru actually does little work, instead he leaves petty jobs to his personal bodyguards. With his position comes a variety of perks, the most important of which are his two bodyguards, Harley and Quinton, who are really more idiotic and useless buffoons then they are bodyguards- however he does enjoy their shenanigans, the extent of their failures, and their classic super villain attitudes.

``Personality;;

Shotaru’s personality is not one easily described, as he is a very complex person. If he could be described as anything, it would be unstable, having somewhat of a jolly and a gloomy personality. When it comes to people he likes, Shotaru is endlessly pleasant, and an adorable bundle of energy. However when confronting an enemy he is rather obnoxious and annoying.

Shotaru is himself. He acts how he wants to and that can be like an arrogant brat or a sweet young ‘lady’. Only cares about a small amount of people in the world, and is loyal until death to them. He’ll do anything to get to the top and for that some people like to call him underhanded but he’d just say he’s got a goal in life and that’s to be a Pokemon legend. He doesn’t expect to be like any of the idiots (more accurately idiots in his opinion) who lived in the barbaric (once again, his opinion) ages, such as Alexander the Great or Caesar, but he wants to be a legend in his own right, in his own time. He doesn’t know how he’s going to do it quite yet but he’s working on a plan.

Shotaru can be said to be ill-mannered and discourteous and he could care less. He doesn’t like letting many people get close to him, or people getting close to him and so he behaves in a way that pretty much assures that very few people can get close to him. Despite the coldness and wickedness about him, he always acts in a way that is most easily considered ‘lady like’, he is most often polite and speaks very well.

Shotaru can be sweet and kind and caring, or at least he can act like he cares. It’s one of his most used ways of getting what he wants. He does what he wants when he wants to get something he really wants.

Nonetheless, he is extremely intelligent despite the fact that he is so young. It is his calculating and intelligent demeanor that puts him in the position he is in as the head kumicho of Team Rocket.

Shotaru is most well known for the fact that he looks and acts like a a female. In fact, unless told otherwise, it is assumed that he is a girl. The reason why he looks and acts this way is completely unknown, as he refers to himself as a ‘he’ and has been known to take a liking to women with large breasts. It can only be assumed that he does so for mind games, but this is only speculation.
