It has been twenty years since the Pirate King, Monkey D. Luffy found the treasure One Piece on the final island of Raftel. He and his crew the Straw Hat Pirates were the most wanted crew in the world for fifteen of those long years, until five years ago, the execution of the second Pirate King commenced. On the execution platform, in the middle of Loguetown, Monkey D. Luffy spoke.
"You really want to know where One Piece is? It's exactly where it was all those years ago. I left it all in that place!"
With those final words mirroring the ones spoken by the first Pirate King, Gold Roger, Monkey D. Luffy was executed publicly with a smile on his face.
Roronoa Zoro has defeated the great Hawk Eyes Mihawk and not only took his place as World's Greatest Swordsman, but also his status as Shichibukai. Nami has completed her map of the world and is waiting patiently for the great abilities of yet another mapmaker to come around and trump her abilities. Sanji found the fabled All Blue, however, has yet to reveal its location.
It is unknown where the crew currently resides, but it is assumed that they are in fact, together. These legendary pirates and many others lie in wait for the one who will claim the title of the next Pirate King!
